We adopted this Red-eared Slider at our annual Luza Family Easter Camping Trip. For the first few days, he was too freaked out to eat (as far as we could tell, anyway). Yesterday, I got to see him eat for the first time. Today, he’s had both breakfast and lunch while I try to figure out how many of the baby turtle sticks and how much romaine he’s supposed to eat.

He’s really a ton of fun to watch and is starting to get used to me. I can’t wait for him to be a little more social. I always have a blast feeding Gamora when we visit Jenn and Scott.
